Thomas P. Danco, CLU, ChFC, Principal

Thomas P. Danco is the founder of The Employers Benefit Group, LLC. Over the past 30 years, he and the firm have concentrated their insurance expertise in life insurance in estate planning, health & welfare benefits and deferred compensation programs. The firm's clients are the founders and owners of private and closely-held public companies, or large block shareholders of mid to large cap public companies.
 
Through pioneering The Executive Benefit Exchange® and SERP SWAP®, Tom has developed a reputation as a technically fluent insurance professional for those who advise wealthy individuals. In 1998, the firm merged with TBG Financial, one of the country's largest firms serving the non-qualified executive benefits market, where Tom headed the wealth transfer practice. With the Prudential acquisition of TBG Financial, the company has been reacquired by Tom and the management team.
 
Tom graduated with a B.A. from Lafayette College. The CLU and ChFC designations are from the American College.

Alan Haynes, Senior Vice President

Using more than 25 years of employee benefits consulting and marketing experience, Alan offers clients the objective knowledge for Health and Welfare program review and implementation of managed care plans including reference based plans, cafeteria benefits, self-funded benefit plans and captive insurance programs.
 
Over the past 20 years Alan has held various employee benefits positions with Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and ADP. Prior to joining The Employers Benefit Group, LLC Alan held the role of National Director of Strategy and Business Development for Aon Hewitt.
 
In his management role, Alan is responsible for guiding clients toward cost effective employee benefits and wellness strategies and ensuring compliance with all employee benefits regulations. He also coordinates the firm’s benefits administration and HR services team helping clients better manage the various administrative tasks associated with benefit programs.

Gregory S. Perez, JD, Senior Vice President

Gregory S. Perez is a senior officer with TeBG, Inc. He recently completed 24 years as Health and Welfare Practice leader with Aon Hewitt in both Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon. He specializes in self-funded health and welfare programs for employers and trust funds.
 
Greg has over 35 years of employee benefits consulting experience, in all areas of employee benefits including health and welfare plan design, self-funding, special retiree plans, flexible benefits, managed care plans, alternative funding arrangements, and elective benefit programs. Greg has also served as national advisor with national consulting firms for specific client matters.
 
Greg is a frequent speaker for the International Foundation of Employee Benefits (IFEBP). He has also been an instructor for both the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) program and served on the faculty for employee benefit subjects with UCLA Extension and the College for Financial Planning (CFP).
